ABOUT MIDLINE
A clearer view of both sides.
Midline is built and maintained by the Midline team. We make a simple face symmetry test that measures left-right geometric balance in a single photo.
The test produces an overall score, five feature scores and a landmark overlay. Face detection runs in your browser using Google MediaPipe; our published geometric formula turns detected coordinates into a score. Your photo is not uploaded to our server.
What the result means
The score describes one image. Lighting, camera position, head turn and expression affect the measurement. It is not a beauty rating, diagnosis or population percentile. We do not claim clinical validation.
Our approach
Keep the test direct, explain the calculation, and show an error when the image cannot be measured. No account, saved history, batch testing or report export is required or provided.
